참가부대; 제1연대,기갑부대 및 제 26연대 제1대대
적 군; 월맹군 제 5군구 전방지휘소,월맹군 제12연대,Binh Dinh성 VC일부.
활동개요; 사단은 미제 173공수여단과 합동작전으로 적의 226기지로 통칭하는 Nui Giang(산)
~ Hong Ngang(산) ~ AnHoi계곡 일대를 포뤼 공격과 통로차단 및 잔류매복 등의
다양한 작전수단으로 적을 포착 격멸하였다.
전 과; 사살 252명,포로 3명, 개인화기 110정,공용화기 35문.
손 실; 전사 13명,부상 60명.

Operation Maengho 16
ROK Forces; The 1st Regt. Cav Regt. and the 1st Ba of the 26th Regt.
Enemy ; The 12th NVA Regt. and VCin Binh Dinh Provinces.
Outline; The Capital Division annihilated all the enenmy troops,one and all,
those still moving around in the rugged wooden area of Mt. Giang-Mt.
Ngang-AnHoi valley, so-called enemy's 226th bases,when it carried out
a series of the multi - type operations "Maengho 16" in conjunction with
the 173rd US A Airbone Brigade's operation.
Results ; Killed 252 enemy, 3 POWs,captured 110 indiv and 35 crew-served wpns.
Loses ; 13 KIA, 60 WIA.
