참가부대;해병 제2여단.
적 군;월맹군 D-3대대, Q-80대대.
활동개요;Dien Ban지역과 Song Ba Ren(강)남쪽 일대에 은거하면서 게릴라 전을 획책하고
있는 적을 강타하여 적의 하계공세를 봉쇄하는 동시에 지역평정을 촉진하였다.
전 과;사살 71명.포로 8명,개인화기 29정,공용화기 4문.
손 실;부상 21명.

ROK Forces;The 2nd Marine Brigade
Enemy ;D-3rd and Q-80th Bn, NVA.
Outline ;Taking the initiative, the Brigade attacked upon the two NVA Battalions
preparing for a guerrills warfare in the neighbourhood of Dien Ban and
south of Ba Ren River.In consequence of this operation. it broke the
brunt of the enemy's Summer Offensive and prompted the reginal
pacification task as well.
Results ; Killed 71 enemy, 8POW, captured 29 indiv and 4 crew-served wpns.
Losses ; 21 WIA
